This policy explains how Our Trip Plan handles information when you use the mobile application.

Information we collect

We collect account information such as your email address, display name, authentication identifier, and profile image when provided by your sign-in provider. We store information you choose to add, including travel preferences, trips, itineraries, travellers, expenses, saved places, invitations, published itineraries, accommodation recommendations and photos, likes, blocks, and safety reports.

How we use information

We use this information to authenticate your account, provide trip-planning and collaboration features, remember preferences, operate accommodation discovery, moderate published content, respond to reports, maintain security, and improve the service.

Sharing and providers

Trip information is visible to trip owners and people who join through invitations. Published itineraries, accommodation recommendations, and accommodation photos are visible to other users. Supabase provides authentication, database, and private-file storage infrastructure. Apple or Google processes social authentication when selected. Links may open third-party map or accommodation websites.

Advertising, partnerships and tracking

Our Trip Plan does not currently use advertising networks, sell personal information, or track users across other companies’ apps and websites. Accommodation partnership fields may support clearly disclosed affiliate or sponsored links in the future. Before commercial links or attribution technology are enabled, we will update this policy, in-app labels, consent flows where required, and App Store privacy disclosures.

Storage and security

Accommodation photos are resized and converted before upload, and we do not intentionally request their location metadata. We use access controls intended to limit information to authorized users and collaborators. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Avoid entering highly sensitive information in notes or expense descriptions.

Retention and deletion

We retain information while your account is active and as needed to provide the service or meet legal obligations. You can permanently delete your account, owned trip data, and uploaded accommodation photos from Profile settings.

Children

Our Trip Plan is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
